# Shop info: every field

The **Shop Info** box sits below the editor on every shop page. Two of its fields bind the page to a shop; the rest change what visitors read.

Anything you enter here **overrides the network's value permanently**. The next refresh will not undo it.

### The binding

| Field                      | What it does                          |
| -------------------------- | ------------------------------------- |
| **Module ID** | Which network this shop comes from |
| **Shop ID at the network** | The shop's identifier at that network |

Both are required for the page to behave as a shop page. Without them it renders as an ordinary post: no cashback rate, no Go to shop button, no coupons.

They are filled in for you when a page is created from the Shop catalog. You only touch them when adding a page by hand.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Two pages cannot share one shop.** Bind a second page to a shop that already has one and the field is cleared on save — rather than creating a duplicate that would split that shop's coupons and reviews across two URLs.
{% endhint %}

### Display fields

**Name** — what the shop is called on your site. Useful when the network's spelling is a catalogue code like `ACME-INTL-US` rather than a brand.

**Domain** — the shop's website. It does more than it looks: it is what the [logo service](/shops-and-cashback-rates/shop-logos.md) uses to find a logo, and what AI writing uses to know what the shop actually sells. Worth filling in even when nothing displays it.

**Cashback notice** — overrides the cashback rate shown on this page. See [Cashback rates](/shops-and-cashback-rates/cashback-rates.md).

**SEO title** — the title search engines show, when you want it to differ from the page title.

**Meta description** — the snippet search engines show under the title. Around 155 characters. Left empty, one is built from the shop's name and cashback rate.

**Tagline** — a short line under the shop name. One sentence; it is a label, not a description.

**Validation days** — roughly how long this merchant takes to approve an order, shown to members as an expectation. Imported from the network where the network supplies it.

**Cashback terms** — the conditions on earning cashback here: what counts, what does not. Shown as its own section, and only when you have written something.

**Exclusions** — what this shop never pays cashback on. Gift cards, marketplace sellers and third-party items are the usual ones.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Terms and exclusions are worth the effort on your busiest shops.** Nearly every "why did I not get my cashback" question is answered by one of them, and a member who read it before buying does not send the email at all.
{% endhint %}

**Sidebar area** — free content placed in the shop page's sidebar, for this shop only. Accepts HTML.

### Which fields the AI can fill in

If you have AI writing set up, it can produce the description, meta description, SEO title and tagline for you — one shop at a time or in bulk.

It works from the shop's **domain**, so a shop with that field empty gets noticeably worse results. See [Writing shop pages with AI](/ai-and-seo/shop-descriptions-and-metadata.md).

### What is not here

The **logo** is the page's featured image, set in the normal WordPress way.

**Categories** are the Shop categories box — see [Shop categories](/shops-and-cashback-rates/shop-categories.md).

The **commission**, currency and network status are the network's, not yours. They are shown read-only in the Shop catalog and cannot be edited: the next refresh would overwrite them anyway. See [The Shop catalog](/shops-and-cashback-rates/shop-catalog.md).
